Amen. Still, I have to say that some of the things that Republicans were fighting tooth and claw to get struck from the bailout package seemed a little bit petty. I'm rather tired to watching politicians make token gestures of disapproval instead of actually taking a stand. In my mind, corruption is a result of wishy-washiness; wishy-washiness fostered by the growing number of career politicians, motivated by reelection rather than actual accomplishments. Washington needs a little more backbone, and a little less self-centeredness.
